With summer well on the way, its time to rethink our outdoor spaces. Even if you have limited space, think about how you like to spend your time outdoors. Sometimes a few chairs and a small side table is all it takes to enjoy the great outdoors!

Oh. These are wonderful. I just spent this past weekend trying to get our screened-in-porch livable after storing our firewood and coal out there all winter. I spent all day yesterday on it drinking coffee and reading magazines! A perfect 'waste' of a day. :)
I spend a lot of time outdoors here in East Texas. I spend a lot of time decorating and gardening period! I simply love your taste! And your blog. Thanks for all the beautiful photos and fun! Brenda
Yes, creating a space outside for summer is a great idea 'cos that's the only time of the year when you get to enjoy the heat and relax with the family. I'm thinking of fixing the roofing (Omaha is like a paradise during summer) of our porch, probably white paint will be better than green.

Hey Lisa,
I'm a new reader and LOVE your blog! But I was wondering if it was possible for you to source your photos in the future? Thanks!

nice pics. fresh & summer(y)
Just read your blog for the first time....so my style! Can't wait to keep reading. Thanks.
These rooms are gorgeous. I don't have a porch to do something like this, but these photos are so inspiring...I might have to get creative.
I also really like your blog...I'll definitely be back:)
that punch of black in those first two pictures is wonderful! It adds drama! I will have to remember that when doing my porch/deck someday!
