Holiday Ideas

Ok ok so its not even Halloween yet but its always fun to think ahead about decorating for the holidays. I will be adding holiday shots from time to time hopefully to give you all some ideas for decorating this year. Why not paint your front door a bright red and put a wreath up? Nothing says "Merry Christmas" quite like traditional red and green. Loving the clear lamps with a holiday scene. Simple is always fantastic. A green garland around the window and pass the eggnog!

Ah Christmas AND Pottery Barn. Those lamps are wonderful, but ugh I covet just about everything at PB.

I have always loved SIMPLE decor at the holidays and this year it just seems all the more appropriate.

I have been eyeing that lamp since the catalog came out! Perfection!

I'm so far behind decorating for fall and Halloween, I hope I can get it together to decorate for Christmas. For inspiration, I'll just come back here! :-)

Fun ideas. I really like the clear lamps. You can switch out the contents to fit any season or design.

I love the red door. I found out the hard way, however, that it needs to be warm outside when you try to paint a steel door. I tried painting mine a few years ago in the fall and it was harder than it should have been. Of course I live in MN so it wasn't warm enough!
