Come on in !
Even if you front door dumps right into your main living area (mine sure does!) try to define the area the best you can. A small table works wonders, for a place to put your keys etc. If you cannot manage a table perhaps a small shelf added to your wall. Its always nice to know where your keys are !!!

I looove that first pic! I love small spaces, too - more personal & more cozy! Have a lovely weekend!

great ideas... our main entry is at our kitchen and i am trying desperately to figure out how to make it work for us. coats always end up on the kitchen chairs... i need to pit up a coat rack somewhere without making it too messy!
This is the dilema I have at the moment - I have a hall table with a gorgeous print above it but apart from that, our entrance is bare and in desparate need of some decor!
Working on my small mud room/entry right now... thanks for the pics!

Lovely pics, as always. My favorite is the first one. Thanks for sharing!
Are you in my head? I am posting about my (future) entrance hall this week! I love a good small space and the entrance hall is such a fun challenge!
love the third image - the light colors and the photo grouping are lovely!
This is my first visit to your blog and I'm glad I found you. I live in a tiny workers cottage and moved in over 20 years ago, before children. Since then I have married, had two beautiful boys and run out of space. I refuse to give my cottage up! The ceilings still have the pressed tin on them and it has the feel of old country. I will be using your ideas to help the storage situation. Kind regards, Anita.
...i have a deep red entry too!
Oh, i love those blue walls!
I love your blog! I found it through the March issue of Real Simple magazine!
Nice to meet ya!
Adorei seu blog , pena que não sei escrever quase nada em Inglês . Congratulation . kiss .
