Combo Kitchens

I really like these kitchens. In the last one, I love how they made it more of a space to hang out instead of the usual dining area. Set up your rooms how YOU use them, and not what they are "suppose" to be....

Love those last two, especially the sofa in the "breakfast" area. Great idea!

In our last house, we had to put the dining room table in the living room because the space that was supposed to be the dining room was way too small to fit a table and chairs in. We loved being able to entertain with all the space that was in the living room. We put the couch and chair in the original dining room instead and it was super cozy! Who says you can't do what works best for you?!!

So inspiring..thanks for this post! I recently converted my small kitchen table (in our very small kitchen) into my own personal deskspace by putting flowers, my laptop, camera and paintbrushes on it. I get to maximize this small space.

I love, love, love your text in this post. The aim of my life is to make rooms be what works for me and not what they are "supposed" to be!

I want those white shelves in the last kitchen
any idea how to get them?

we spent some time at a lumber store today hoping for some inspiration on maximizing storage in our new small space.

The last one is definitely may favourite - adore the couch close by for people hanging out drinking coffee or dogs lounging!!! But I would be worried that it would absorb food smells and be a bit yucky after a year or two...

Thank you all for your comments, I read them all ! Marjorie, my kitchen table is used more now for a computer then eating !

My main goal here is to offer pictures so we can get new ideas for our tiny homes- I get most of my ideas from pictures in magaznes, catalogs or books.
