Home Ofiice

Although these home offices are decorated in different styles, they all are stylish and efficient. I do wonder about how they hide all the endless cords, my home desk is 2 file cabinets with a stained closet door as the top. It hides ALL the cords :)

  1. I was redoing my office last week and having the hardest time concealing all the cords and wires!

  2. I think shelter magazines probably just don't plug things in... or maybe they airbrush out the evidence of cords. Our home office is an absolute rats nest of wires :)

  3. Yesterday I saw on a blog how to hide the cords. They run them along the back and down the legs with something they found at the hardware store. She showed several tables with lamps in her own home without a cord showing at all and then should the hidden cords. If I find the blog again I'll be back.

  4. I'm guessing they remove the cords for the purposes of styling the pics! The laptops could be on wireless broadband though, so they wouldn't need cords if that's the case!

  7. I love the last office, a lot of times it is are to focus in a home office. This office would create a separation from the rest of your home.

  11. My favorite is the blueprint behind that desk. What a great idea.

Cords and wires could possibly be hidden using PVC piping and painted the wall color. The piping should be small and lay against the floor and wall. It would be great behind a desk.

  12. I've often wondered where all the cords and work papers go when stylists set up these very beautiful home offices. They look great but are they practical? The trick is getting the balance right I guess.
These do look nice though...something to aspire to.
