Ikea !

I do not have a Ikea store where I live, so I sometimes forget about how great this store is. I'm in love with the shoe rack and may have to incorporate that in my own home. If you have a Ikea store near you...LUCKY !

I have 2 ikeas close to me and I love them.

But I'm now trying to personalize my space because it looks a little too mass-produced.

Its just that there are so many things I love for so cheap!

I live in Sweden and here we have IKEA's everywhere. I think that IKEA is great, it's cheap and they have many beautiful things.

I love Ikea, did see you the new Maskros lamp? It's amazing! Looks like a dandelion. Anyway, I'm moving to my new apartment and it's small and your blog comes as a perfect inspiration!

Dandy- I know EXACTLY what you mean, I worry about that too sometimes, I mix my stuff up from so many places to overcome that..eh works for me : )
Karu- Sweeden! Home to Ikea ! Lucky you! They do have nice things !
Lovehonor- Good taste ! :) I love that shoe rack, if they made it in black I would be all over it.
Paty- I know you can but back aways the shipping for anything heavy was so high. Maybe they've come down. I bought a bunch of stuff on a trip to Chicago years back. Had the best time.
Jana- Im head to your blog right after this post !
Eve- No I never saw that lamp but Im gong to go check it out! New apartment ..so exciting! Good luck !! Keep stopping by !

Ikea is definitely great for cost effectiveness, however you have to becareful. There are so many homes I've been to where I walk in and the entire place screams "ikea" LOL.

That shoe rack is great though. I need myself one of those.

Oh how I wish we had Ikea in the STL!

Lisa, Technically it holds two pairs per drawer...I have about 3 per drawer in mine. It does come in very dark brown, but has a melamine finish so I am not sure how difficult it would be to paint. Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

I do have an Ikea store close to me and I bought that exact same chandelier you have in one of your photos posted. Ikea's products have changed a lot from when they first started so I still find some of their pieces attractive.

I have two Ikeas near me and I am there all the time. Sometimes I don't even buy anything, its more of an experience and to get connected with whats available.

I love Ikea! The closest one is 4 hours away...but it's on the way to our parents' home in New York, so we always try to stop by to pick up some "must-need" items. Love these pics, especially the bedroom!

ah! its a shoe rack, I was thinking it was some type of filing cabinet and was trying to figure out how to put my folders in there, but of course shoes will fit nicely in there. We don't have Ikea here, so I guess I'll just enjoy the photos! :)
