Oooh, thank you. This gives me hope that I will be able to work with our small living room. As much as I love having a fireplace/mantle, I admit that I curse it sometimes as the chimney takes up valauble floor space!
I love how cozy each of these spaces are! It shows it not the size of the room but the feeling it conveys that makes it comfortable and cozy! Have a great week Donna
I have about 1.5 feet b/w my kitchen cabinets and the ceiling and have NO idea how to decorate that space. I know wine bottles, fake fruit, etc are favorites but I'm dying for some originality. Can you please post some inspirational pics?
I've enjoyed looking at your blog. THanks. I too am getting ready to move into a small space and am looking for inspiration. It's nice to find kindered spirits. Feel freem to take a look at http://a-cozy-place.blogspot.com/

I never understood why people build houses that take an hour to walk through. I love the little cosy look, individual rooms, dark colors and even thought I can't hold a huge party I still have had all the people I want in my house. Anyone else feel this way or am I a dark recluse?
I'm really late to the party, but can you tell me the kind of loveseats that are in the last picture? They seem maybe even like chair and a half, but I love everything about them. A source for buying with the type of material would be great! thanks
