I LOVE banquette seating. I've been meaning to design up something for my kitchen for the last 10 years it seems. These pictures are varied in decor style, but they are all so nice looking. Do you have banquette seating and if so are you happy with it ?

I don't have it now, but have banquette seating on my list of projects for my small eat-in kitchen. With a large extended family, I think it would add several places to our table when they visit. Thanks for the photos! Annie Joy
I would LOVE banquette seating. but my kitchen isn't big enough! If I could talk my husband into bumping out the window, it could be done!! Love the pics...LOVE the blog!

I love banquet seating, especially under/near windows.
Used to have L shaped banquette seating in my kitchen and I loved it, but often found that people didn't want to sit "in the middle", so much of it was wasted space!
We have banquette seating in our kitchen and discovered a great bonus: It's big enough for a guest to sleep on comfortably! If you are planning a banquette for your small place, see if you have enough space for sleeping and then choose good quality foam and a removable back for the cushioning. You could expand your sleeping space!
