A Well Placed Window

Nothing can do more for a small space or any place for that matter then a well placed window. The older I get the more light I seem to need. I don't know why that is, I just know it is. Sometimes a less then stellar place can be sold just for the view or the way the light comes streaming in. Do you have a favorite window in your home? Is it the view? The light that comes in? The shape of the window? If eyes are the window to the soul, then a good window is a window to the world. Next time you move, make sure you look threw all the windows. Good design starts with the basics.

Hi, your blog is wonderfully sweet :)
I just wanted to drop you a line because I can only see half of the pictures, I have no idea why but they get cut in half.... (at least with firexo in a mac)

Have a great weekend,
Daniela

Great pics and WORD on the windows. We now live in a place where the only room without a window is the guest bathroom. I'm very happy about that. I try not to be too ungrateful that often times I'm looking out my window only to see my neighbors window, lol, but that's life in a subdivision.

I still think the light is glorious, as is the breeze. Having lots of windows makes it much easier to leave the AC off.

Sorry the delay in answering questions on this post! Most pictures on my blog are NOT from my own home. If I use my own home, I'll make sure to mention it. These are insperation photos from all over the net. I don't know where the soap dispenser came from but I found a similar one that can be wall hung or just placed on the sink itself. Under my "things to buy" link, go to Napa style and put in "Soap" in their search. If your still having trouble, let me know! Thanks everyone!
