Camp Like Guest House

< A few year back I came across these really cool tents in one of my design books. The company that makes them is called Sweet Water Bungalows (just click the title in this post and it will take you to their website.) They are pricey, but could work if you lived in nicer year round climate and did not want the cost of new construction.

I've seen this before too, I love it, I'd live in one full time if I could.

I covet the secretary’s desk as the nightstand.

They are so pretty, I think you'd really have to live in a year round nice climate tho. I can't see parking anyone out here in January where I live!

I'd love one of these and would plunk it on a waterfront lot somewhere seculded. Just to get away from it all. Tons of guests? "I'm so sorry -- I just don't have the room" (and will feign not reading Lisa's tips for *making* the room!).

Great stuff, as always, Lisa. Love your tip "Don't confuse clutter with personality". I can't coexist with clutter, so I have to be careful when things (namely pieces of contemporary art glass) "call" me! Anyway, some people seem to have a knack for arranging their clutter to at least look somewhat decent and indicative of personality. Not me. LOL

Thanks for the comments! I'm a bit late with my replies because August is always a slap in the face to squeeze in as much summer fun as possible. A bit longer dip in the pool etc...

chef! Nice to hear from you! There is a fine line between clutter and style! I go back and fourth a lot, but as I get older, I really do think less is more. Although, on one of my favorite old shows, Frasier, he did say "Well, if less is more, just think how much more will be.... lol
